Welcome to the South Texas Spring Showdown
The South Texas Spring Showdown is an end-of-season wrap-up event for Recreational (U7 to U12) & Youth Academy (U7 to U10) teams in The Woodlands, TX. We invite teams from South Texas and the surrounding areas to participate in this year’s event.
Tournament Information
- Recreational and Youth Academy levels of play
- Minimum of 3 games for every team
- Champions and finalists will receive individual awards
- USSF-certified referees are assigned to all games.

The Tournament Brackets are posted for review until April 27 @ 12 PM.
If you see an error with the brackets, please email the following to tournaments@htxsoccer.com before the deadline.
- Full Team Name, Age Group & Bracket
- What the error is? Why does it need to be addressed?
- A possible solution to address the issue
If you do not see your team listed, please look in another age group, some teams have been moved between age groups.
Additionally, please take care of the following items before the date listed:
April 26 – The Correct Head Coach must be listed as Primary Coach so that GotSport picks up coaching conflicts
April 29 – Schedule Posted
May 1 – Check-In Deadline / Schedule Final
May 2 – GotSport Event Roster Updated

This is a stay-to-play event. All travelling teams attending this event must make their Hotel Accommodations through Team Travel Source in order to be eligible to participate in the event. Teams found to be in violation of this requirement are subject to disqualification without a refund of their entry fee which will jeopardize their participation in future HTX Soccer events.

The deadline for check-in is May 1, 2024
Documents required for check-in:
- US Club/USYSA Player Cards with pictures. If you have digital player cards, please submit screenshots of those cards or reach out to your administrator for a PDF of your physical cards
- US Club/USYSA Official Roster
If your player cards are not available, please submit a letter from your club registrar certifying your players are registered for the 2023/24 season through USYSA or US Club. The letter should be on club stationery and include the team name, player name, player date of birth and player ID number.
Please have your US Club/USYS Medical Releases at the game. Club-issued medical releases will not be accepted.
