Who schedules the referees? David Hubbard is the referee assignor for the North (Creekside, Tomball, Woodforest & Woodlands) programs. Hector Avila & Johns Slaughter are the referee assignor for the South programs (Clear Lake, Friendswood, League City). Sam Buckman is the referee assignor for the Sienna programs. When can I referee? We schedule referees for our in-house Recreational & Youth Academy programs, as well as multiple 3v3 & 5v5 tournaments through out the year.
All new referees need to be qualified through South Texas Soccer Referees (STSR).
South Texas Soccer Referees (STSR) is the official State Referee Committee for the United States Soccer Referee Program. The committee is responsible for the administration of the Referee Program including Registration, Development and Assignment and serves those associations affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation in South Texas.
