Friendswood Recreational

The cost of uniforms is separate from your player’s registration fees. The Recreational uniform kit is provided through Soccer.com and is approx. $90 + taxes & shipping. Uniforms are valid from Fall 2025 – Spring 2027.

Your player’s uniforms are customized which means it may take several weeks to ship. Please keep this in mind when ordering. If your uniform doesn’t arrive before the first game, improvise by using a t-shirt, which your child is welcome to decorate & customize.

Training Schedule:

• U4: Saturdays 9:00 to 10:00AM (30 min practice followed by a 30 min game)
• U5/U6: 1 mid week practice – will be loaded in PlayMetrics once confirmed with coaches
• U7/8: Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30PM
• U9/10: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 6:45 PM
• U11 & older: 2 mid week practice – will be loaded in PlayMetrics once confirmed with coaches

Volunteer Coaches Needed!

The Recreational program is a volunteer based program. Every team requires at least ONE parent volunteer coach. Volunteer coaches are directed and guided by a team of dedicated full time professional staff.

Requirements – U4 Teams
Attend pre-season coaches meeting
Coach 1 game per week (30 minutes practice + 30 minute game on Saturdays)
No midweek team commitment
Contact point for team parents
Pass a background check.

Requirements – U5/U6 Teams
Attend pre-season coaches meeting
Coach 1 team practice per week
Coach 1 game per week
Pass Background Check

Requirements – U7-U19 Teams
Attend pre-season coaches meeting
Conduct 2 weekly team practices
Coach 1 game per week
