Adaptive Soccer Program
HTX Adaptive Soccer Program welcomes players of all ages, with any intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) or physical disability, including but not limited to:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Autism/Sensory Disorders
- Down Syndrome
- Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Blind/Low-Vision
- Neurological Disorders
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Amputee
- Stroke
HTX Adaptive Soccer Program allows for an encouraging, safe, and FUN environment for all.
For the more experienced player, HTX Adaptive Soccer is a feeder program to the Para-7-A-Side Soccer through CP Soccer.

Fall 2024 Season Schedule:
Adaptive Soccer: Players will have practice & games from 6:30 – 7:30 PM Tuesday nights. (September 24 – November 11)
CP Soccer: Players will have practice & games on Saturdays. Schedules will be uploaded into your Play metrics calendars. (September 21 – November 9)
The director of the program is Keith Johnson. Keith has over 100 appearances with the US Soccer Paralympic National Team.
There will be many opportunities to be identified for national team tournaments for the following ages: U10, U15 & U21 national teams. The first ever female national team was formed for international competition in 2021.
Adaptive Soccer Camp
Dates: June 17 to 20
Times: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Locations: Bear Branch Sportsfields (5205 Research Forest Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381)
Birth Years: 2019-2005
Registration Fee: $25
Players will participate in lots of fun small-sided games and will focus on the Soccer fundamentals of the game which includes scoring lots of goals!
