The HTX City Program was launched in 2017 and is a collection of the best teams around the Greater Houston area that provides girls an opportunity to join an accelerated pathway for development.
City teams consist of the strongest players in their geographical area, taking into consideration their current ability, potential, and their commitment to development. The program is an investment in emerging talent and our way to prepare players to play at the highest level; the Girls Academy which starts at U13.
Since 2017 we have seen a direct correlation between the growth of the City Program and the development of a stronger player pool for the Elite Girls teams at U13-19 and seen a significant improvement in the performance the Elite Girls program on a national scale over this period of time. The curriculum and training philosophy are proven and will now impact more female players around the city.

The Girls Academy (GA) is the highest level of play for HTX Soccer. The GA represents an elite, college bound pathway for our most talented and dedicated players. The primary focus of the HTX GA is development; both as a player and as a person. We believe in creating a competitive and exciting training and game day environment. Our belief that the byproduct of dedicating ourselves to the players’ development journey will create teams able to compete at a national level has turned into a proven pathway. This pathway has gotten HTX recognized as the top club in the country for placing kids in college.
This level is for a player of high character, with a growth mindset and driven to improve and compete.
For the 2023-24 season, HTX will form teams for the U13 (2012), U14 (2011), U15 (2010), U16 (2009), U17 (2008) and U18/19 (2007/2006) age groups. Use the button below to register for an evaluation & a member of the Girls Academy staff will reach out to arrange an evaluation.
The GA2 is the level below the top tier, which is the Girls Academy (GA). The GA2 is designed to expand the player pool and provide a clear pathway for players who show the potential to make the jump to the GA level. GA2 implements a highly professional training environment and competitive model for aspiring GA players. Like the GA, the GA2 is a college soccer preparatory program.
Founded on the ideology of the GA program, the GA2 provides a development structure that focuses on playing more meaningful games, a professional game day environment, more training, high-level coaching, focus on developing the individual player, and great exposure in major college showcase events.
For the 2023/2024 season, the HTX GA2 teams will be competing in the U.S. Youth Soccer (USYS) Frontier Development League (FDL). As a member of the league, HTX GA2 is immediately eligible for the USYS South Texas State Championships and have the opportunity to compete and qualify for the USYS NL PRO and Regional Championships.
The FDL will also include BVB IA (Dallas), FC Dallas (Dallas), DKSC (Dallas), Renegades SC (Dallas), Solar (Dallas), and Lonestar (Austin).
For the 2023-24 season, HTX will form North teams for the U13 (2012), U14 (2011), U15 (2010), U16 (2009), U17 (2008) and U18/19 (2007/2006) age groups. Use the button below to register for an evaluation & a member of the Girls Academy staff will reach out to arrange an evaluation.
